FAQ

• What type of content do you need?

  We are looking for lifestyle photos (people using & enjoying the product). Not product only photos as these can be done in-house. Please refer to the example on this page or see more references here. We are happy to hear ideas from creative people such as yourself.

• What are the key requirements / standards with photos?

  - bag must not be wrinkled

  - big smile (our product in action making people happy)

  - can be shaker bottle or bag in frame, but bag takes preference over shaker.

  - Product and/or smile in focus.

• How much content do you need to upload / month?

  There is no maximum or minimum to upload. The idea is to make it as easy as possible for you. If you are out and about in nature / on an adventure, take Ka’Chava with you. Typically content creators upload between 4-10 images a month. You can do more, you can do less. All depends on how much time you have and what you want to earn.

• Where do I upload my content?

  We will give you a unique login access to our content management system where you can upload content from your computer or phone.

• What if I don’t upload content one month?

  No problem. If you need a break, that’s fine. We send reminder emails before the end of the month to upload your content so we can review it and pay you. Your bags are auto shipped. If you haven’t sent content after a few months we will contact you to see if you want to continue. If not, we cancel the auto shipments and say goodbye until you want to start again

• Are there any contracts / commitment?

  You don’t have to commit for any time period. Any party can cancel at the end of the month. You can see the full terms here.

• How much product do you send?

  If you are committed we start off with 4 bags (2 chocolate and 2 vanilla) to ensure you have enough. After that we send 2 bags per month. Usually to the same address but if you are travelling we can send it to your desired location.

• Should I delete old content that isn’t purchased?

  No. Sometimes we cycle back through old content and if we find a situation we can use it (such as a one-off email campaign) we will purchase the rights to use it.

• Where will the content be used?

  Social media, ads, email and on the website. For full use rights please refer here - https://www.eu.kachava.com/pages/content-rights We do not use any of your content until after we purchase the rights.

• Why do we work this way and not hire content creators for a set amount of photos?

  We have done this in the past and are usually disappointed with the results. A package of 10, or 20 photos doesn’t bring enough variety or might not hit the brief. If this is the ONLY way you work, you can still contact us and we will happily hear your pitch. However,  we prefer to build lasting relationships with content creators and we need new content every month. This way content creators generally earn more / month as opposed to a hello - goodbye scenario and we get more variety (people, places, scenarios). We also can’t spend the time negotiating with each content creator and prefer to jump straight into a healthy ongoing working relationship.

• How much content do we buy each month?

  It all depends on the quality of the content. If you upload 10 photos and there is enough variety,  they are all good quality & meet our standards, we will buy all 10. If only 2 meet the criteria we will buy only those 2.

• When and how is payment made?

  We make a payment directly into your bank via wire transfer. We review content at the end of every month and make a payment at the end of the first week of the following month.

• When Can I Get A Shaker Bottle?

  We have a limited supply of shaker bottles and send them to selected content creators. Usually those who have already submitted content with the Ka’Chava Bag. The ka’Chava bag is preferred over the shaker bottle.

• Do You Pay For Video Content?

  Yes we buy video content as short 10-15 second scenes. But we can also arrange custom briefs to film, edit and deliver stories. We do this with content creators who specialise in videography.
